In Winter 2018 I started a series shooting New York City musicians on location. At the time, I didn’t know it would be a series. I was drawn to these musicians. I found their cool look and vibe to be visually intriguing. My vision was to shoot images of them lounging around their homes just being them. To give people another sense of who they were offstage. They inspired me.

I reached out (more like hounded) many of them via social media and/or after performances. I encouraged their collaboration during the shooting process. Most of my favorite images below were ideas of the musicians themselves. Moments of spontaneity. Photography is collaboration. I thrive on the magic of these mini-moments. Where something comes together that was unplanned or prearranged.

Website is currently under construction, with bits of it coming together at a time. This “bit” is a work in progress.
